wireless network numbers

each time I have change or reinstall my wireless adapter the network connection for it is given an incremented number - I am currently on 'wireless network 15'. Does anyone know how to remove the past history?

As long as you don't have a list of 15 entries, just right click, select Rename and edit out the number 15.

Mind you, that's a lot of Wireless Adapter changes/reinstallations ;-)

click here This may be of use to you if, on checking, you find that any of the old network setups are still hanging around. I cannot vouch for it though, as I have never needed to try it.
