Hi there I really need help on my home network with adding a wireless laptop. I currently have 2 plugged in XP computers in my workgroup on a Netgear wireless router, sharing files and printers. How would I add a wireless laptop to my workgroup so I would be able to share the same files and printers with the wireless laptop? My laptop also uses Windows XP.
You do it just the same as you did with the wired ones , except you tell windows to use the wireless network connection instead of the wired ethernet one , it works just the same when using the wizard . Make sure you set some wireless security on the router so only you can connect to it , and nobody else .
