wireless network

I have changed computers so I have had to install a pci 10/100 card to old pc which is the host pc. I have connected the other two pc's via wireless adaptors. All is fine can connect to the internet etc. The problem comes in when I try to create file and printer sharing between the 3 pc's.Everytime it comes up with an error message that it cannot find the network card (old pc) although it is connected. I had a tough time just trying to get the card to install but the software wouldn't. In deperation I tried to do it manually but didn't quite know which card to install so I chose from the list of hardware and I tried microsoft mini wan, but this is not correct. I tried to uninstall it from the device manager but it says that it can't uninstall it because windows may not work. I don't know what to do further. In device manager it does show the card realtek RTL8139 family fast Ethernet.Win XP, soyo m/b AMD K6 processor. Thks Heidi
