hi,

Im looking at getting a wireless mouse click here and was wondering if its possible to use my own bluetooth dongle instead of the one provided? (im not even sure if the mouse is bluetooth or wifi?)

i already have a tiny bluetooth dongle and it would be good to use that for everything and cut down on usb slots.

thanks
james

No.

As above "no" the mouse dongle will not be bluetooth. Even if it was it would be different most likely.

This is an even better buy, and has a "nano" adapter, which on a laptop you can leave in all the time, as it sticks out hardly at all (so you can't knock it.) Logitech mice, in my experience, are extremely reliable.

And to confirm the above, mice are not bluetooth, nor are they "wi-fi" - they're just wireless.
