Wireless Issue

  Jamie H 09:12 24 Jan 2008

Been having a slight annoyance when using my lappy to connect to my home network and wondered if anyone here could suggest any solutions

When I boot up the wireless icon in the system tray goes through all the usual routine ie, connecting to network, acquiring IP address etc and then I get the pop up balloon saying Wireless Network Connected - Signal strength Excellent (All well and good)

However, almost straight away I then get another message saying Wireless network has Limited or no connectivity!

The only way I can then get it to connect is to right click on the icon and then select Repair.

After that there is no problem.

As I say it's more of an annoyance than anything but wondered if anyone has any ideas as to why this might be happening and how to stop it?

Thanks in advance
