Wireless help

I have an advent laptop which is use on a wireless internet. At the moment i am using a USB wireless adapter to connect as the laptop does not have built in wireless. Is there a device that i can buy which sits inside the laptop and would enable me to use the laptop wirelessly without having this usb stick hanging out all the time. I havent got a slot for a wireless network card either by the way.

Then there is no other way. If this is a newish laptop as it got a PCIE slot? but if it had I would have thought it would be wireless anyway

What do you mean by PCIE slot?

  woodchip 23:04 30 Jan 2008

It's a slot that is smaller in width than PCMCIA. Howold the computer? if it's older than two years it will not have one

The laptop is maybe a year to two years old. There is nothing that looks like a card slot. I have two ports on the side which are for the ethernet cable and network cable etc... isthere nothing that can replace them at all anything similar?

Nothing other than a Dongle

Is there anyway of installing or adding a card reader for a wireless card or anything?

Why not get a short USB cable and then plug dongle in end and tape it to back edge of Laptop
