Current Setup: Dlink DGL 4300 Wireless router
Dlink DGL 3420 Wireless Gaming Adapter, Playstation 2.

The PS2 is currently connected to the wireless router through the wireless adapter. I want to place the PS2 in the DMZ.

1) I check the settings on the wireless router to turn on the DMZ for IP 192.168.0.85 (example)

2) I set up the IP of the PS2 as 192.168.0.85
w/subnet of 255.255.255.0 gateway of 192.168.0.1 (the address of the wireless router) and one last setting as 4.2.2.2...I forgot what that setting is called.

What and how do I set up the WIRELESS Adapter's address as?

The default is 192.168.0.30. (this is the address i type into the explorer bar if i connected the adapter to my laptop to get into the wireless adapter settings)

If I leave the settings as is something is not working.

Can someone help? step by step instructions on settings would be helpful.

Thanks.

I don't know the D-Link router set up, but typically to place computers or Playstations into a DMZ requires you to link in via an Ethernet cable to a specific designated port on the router, and hence to have its own LAN Subnet Mask address separate from the existing wired-wireless LAN's Subnet.
Otherwise you have not got a DMZ....
