Wireless conundrum )-:

Why did I bother? Upgrade-itus. Now my previously seemless wireless internet connection doesn't work. After some effort I installed my Belkin PCI wireless adaptor on my new mobo (runs XP)(my wireless router modem still ok with my laptop). Followed all the instructions, the adaptor shows up in device manager all ok. However, I still get no signal shown in the Belkin wireles lan utility. It shows my network but wont connect (utility shows there is an excellent signal on the network) Then all of a sudden green light, presents as working, but very very slowly. I have seen a web page, after 5 mins, most say unavailable. Any pointers please...

What exactly did you upgrade, Stowit, apart from the m/b ?

Nothing but the mobo & HDD, both mobos are MSI (old & new), I hoped the HDD would swap. It didn't, so at present I started afresh on a different disk. I have thought it may be a problem with a particular PCI slot, but I swaped the card to a different one, now there's no connection. It tells me a network's available - insecure do I want to log on anyway, but despite saying yes, it still dosnt let me. All the time that balloon pops up.
