I have a BT Homehub and a Packard Bell desktop computer.The wireless internet connection works fine via a Netgear Wireless USB adapter.However when I use an Ethernet cable to connect the hub to the computer,there is no internet connection. Can anybody help me solve this so the wired connection starts to work. Before using the ethernet connection,I disconnect the wireless connection(I remove the USB adapter from the computer)
Wow! Have you followed FB's advice yet? It may be a problem with the driver. If there is an exclamation mark alongside the ethernet controller, I'd uninstall the driver (if there is one) then reboot Windows to let it try to reinstall. Alternatively, try to update driver from the controller manufacturer's website.
