wireless connection. USB or adapter

I'm currently looking into networking B/B, but not sure what the speed difference, if any there is between USB, USB 2.0 and adapters. Could anyone explain please.

It's best to go with RJ45/Ethernet connection, either on a PCI card or built-in to your PC, the hardware is dedicated to that one task, connecting via USB may not cause you any noticeable loss of speed or slow your system, but your PC will be working harder to interpret the data.
