wireless connection trouble

hi everyone,i have 2 laptops,one connected to the internet by cable to the router,the other one is set up for wireless which works fine.if i try to go wireless on the other laptop it wont connect.it ses i hav excellent signal.when i get windows to repair the connection,it ses cannot clear cache contact your server for help.can any one on here help please,thanks

from a command prompt try: ipconfig /flushdns.

If you have Crap Cleaner installed,this may also help.

hiya did you mean do start,run and type in that command.am sorry am new to all this.i have window washer installed as my cleaner

Start /run/cmd then you get a dos type window then type in command and press enter, when finished type exit then press enter.

hiya just tried it and it said could not flush the resolver cache.function failed during execution. any more ideas please?

Have a look in Admin Tools/component services/services(local) and make sure the DNS client is not turned off.
