Wireless Connection lost

I have just had a new motherboard installed and now my Orange Wireless Broadband signal to my pc keeps dropping or is very very slow. The pc has a Linksys aerial connected.
It worked perfectly before the new motherboard was installed.
I have reinstalled the driver for the Linksys but no luck.
I even restored the computer to a previous date but that had not effect either.
Any suggestions please. This is very annoying.

Was the new motherboard the same make and model as the old one?

Yes, identical

Could it be that the adaptor was damaged on removing from the old motherboard and putting into the new one? Are they easily breakable?
