wireless connection i don't want to use t t disc

hi i would like to go wireless but i am reluctant to use talk talk software after reading so many bad reports can anybody help with this please o/s xp two machines sitting side by side ready to go

If you can post back the make and model of your Adsl modem / router we can get you the settings you need from the talk talk site.

You are, however still with the ISP (TT) so speed will not increase.

the machine i am using is connected to the router via the red cable the machine i want to go wireless on has a dongle installed

The settings here apply to most routers.

To access your routers config screen, the usuall parameters are:

in your browser bar type http/192.168...........(left blank because you will need to refer to the exact address in your router /modem manual.

Then input he info from the link above

when i enter i get message internet explorer could not open this page i have tried this several times with the Ethernet lead plugged into the machine
