Wireless camera to laptop

The receiver for the wireless camera has a Scart output, the laptop has an S-Video socket. I can get a Scart/S-Video lead (have to use a Scart switch to connect the 2 male Scarts), but will it work?

Hmm, are you planning to use the camera as a webcam? 'cos laptop S-Video is video Out not In.

Thanks, not a webcam as such, just to see pictures on the laptop. Could a USB device be used?

  Technotiger 20:06 07 Oct 2007

Yes, if you can have a Camera USB lead.

Can you give any details of the wireless cam?

I have had this kit for some time, but have found another use for it. On closer inspection, the receiver has an AV output, so the Scart may be irrelevant.

Have look at somewhere like Maplins, you may be able to find Scart to USB, or A/V to USB.

Yes, I would agree, the scart is irrelevant.

I have a feeling a USB device may be required, not just a lead.

Perhaps this would do the job ...
