Wireless Broadband for Windows Vista

My dad has bought a new laptop today which has windows vista as operating system. He would like wireless broadband. Will this work with Vista and is the installation process the same, i.e. run CD?

if it's a brand new laptop, then I'm assuming it already has a wireless card built into the laptop. In which case, you shouldn't need to run any CD's.

His new laptop will recognise any wireless network within range, and will offer it to him. All he has to do is tell his machine to connect. He'll be prompted for the network encryption key - I assume you have enabled encryption on your wireless router - but he'll only have to enter it once.

that some laptops have a little switch for the wireless networking adapter, and on a new machine this will be off by default - you'll need to check, and turn it on if necessary.
