Wireless broadband spped vs BT Voyager modem

I've installed a speedtouch 585v6 wireless router now to my desktop and its up and running using tiscali b/b, but when I did a speed check on thinkbroadband it comes up with a downstream speed of about 370k.

Wasn't sure whether this was a problem with the new wireless link or on tiscali dsl. So I plugged my old modem back in (BT Voyager 105) and it showed a downstream of 4M, so I don't think its Tiscali.

My PC is quite old, and doesn't have a network card, but it ran much faster with the old adsl modem. Unfortunately I do need to go wireless as I need to connect up a second PC.

Can anyone suggest how to increase the speed on the wireless broadband (NB the link shows running at 54Mb between the wireless router and adapter)?
