Wireless Adaptor

I use a belkin wireless router. What tpye of wireless adaptor would be best for desktop.

Ideally an internally fitted wireless card but if you don't fancy opening up the PC then any plug in one will do. It is recommended that you stick to the same brand to ensure compatibility but this is not crucial if you didn't want a Belkin model.

I would also suggest an extension cable for any USB based one as the back of a PC is a nightmare as far as RF signals are concerned.

The problem with signals being bad at the back of the PC is why USB with extention cable is better than PCI card as the arial is right down the back.
