I have just purchased a Belkin modem wireless router but it seems I may have to get a wireless card for the desktop. Is this correct. I also have a Dell Laptop would I need a card for this as well. Have tried to connect to internet but unable too.

You will need a wireless card in each computer or you could buy a USB adaptor and swap between the computers....click here

Have you checked your laptop as many have wireless connections as standard?

It not wise to use a wireless system to configure any router leave your desktop hard wire to port 1 on router

Your desktop will connect at 100 mbps while the wireless will only connect at 54 mbps
