I have a desktop and a wireless laptop.

Currently the desktop is connected to a usb cable modemby normal cables. Is it possible to keep the desktoplike this, but have the laptop working wirelessly off the modem at the same time. If so,how?

Thanks

Chris

Yes, but you will need a wireless router of course. I have my desktop Comp. wired, but my grandson wanders all over with his laptop with no wires, works very well..

Will I need anything else???

And will I be able to share files from each pc this way?

thanks again

No,to the first...Yes to second. You get full setup instructions with the router,it`s very easy, but I personally would not use USB..

You will need the router and an access point. the access point connects to the router with a cable and off you go
