WinXP Home - Install on two PCs?

We have two laptops , both with XP Home installed.

My question is whether I can use the Operating System CD supplied with the first laptop to format and reinstall onto the second laptop but using the cd key from the second laptop.

Supplied with the second laptop is a set of recovery disks which from past experience I don't really want to use except maybe for the various drivers required.

Thanks!

sebiven,

as long as it is the same type of O,s, I.E. XP home sp2, it should work just fine. Do remember though that you will have to get hold of the drivers for the Mobo', chipset, graphics and sound.

Thanks Joe R - I have all the driver disks as part of the supplied kit of recovery disks.

Formatting as we speak!
