Hello,

The problem I have is that I've loaded a CD with
a couple of winRAR files.

When you play the CD,
and click 'up one level' it shows the files on my computer.

When the CD with the winRAR files are played on a different computer,
will it show any files that I haven't loaded on the CD?

Many Thanks in advance

A different computer will only show what is on the CD.

Will winRAR archive files appear on the CD?

Only files that you actually burned to the CD will appear on another PC.

rebel11,

the files will still appear, but unless the pc has winrar installed, you wont see the "hardbackbooks" icon as normal.

Winace or winzip should however open these files.

O.K. I've loaded two files on a CD,

they are winRAR files,

the CD is placed in a different computer,
which also has winRAR software loaded,

the person clicks the 'up one level' icon at the top left hand corner, what files appear?

when they open the CD would they have access to any other files other then the two files on the CD?

Would they be able to access files or lists of files that I have on my PC which relate to winRAR?

Sorry to be a pain, thanks in advance.

As I stated above.-
Only files that you actually burned to the CD will appear on another PC.

They won't see anything from your PC, ONLY WHAT IS ON THE CD.

If, as you say, "O.K. I've loaded two files on a CD,

they are winRAR files", then this is all they would see on another computer.
