What is the purpose of the programme WinRAR please and why does it seem to contain lots of Purity Scan files which were undetected by Spybot but I have subsequently found through using the 'search' function? What would happen if I deleted WinRAR entirely from my XP system?

Many thanks

WinRAR is a zip utility, you dont need one for XP as it comes with a "native" zip utility included.

Winrar is a file compression untiity that works well, however like most things nowadays free trial is full of spyware.
