When I click on a link in an email I get a window with the title WinMail.exe-No Disk, the message in the box says No Disk in drive-insert disk into drive D, there are three small boxes with the options Cancel, Try again and Continue if I click Continue I go to the link destintion, but I want to get rid of this maessage if possible.

Can I add this has just appeared since I tried to install some old software from 2005 (Have now uninstalled it as it would nor run properly in Vista)

Winmail.exe is the Windows Mail application. The question is how did it arrive on your desktop without you putting it there? Does it have the window mail icon, i.e., the letter rack? If it doesn't do anything when you click on it, but Windows Mail works normally, you could try deleting the link and leaving it in the recycle bin for a while to see if everything works okay.

Thanks northumbria61
There is no Icon on the desktop for windows mail,
I do use windows mail as my email client, but get to it by going to start>email.

The only time I get this problem is when I open an email that has a link in it.
