Please can i simplify a question from previous post...

If i have windows7 in both the RECOVERY C: and OS D: parts of my hard drive, is there any risk in deleting the one in C:?
I am being prompted to clear space in this.
Cheers

The one in C: is the one that you should be using

and I certainly would be very careful before deleting ANYTHING in D: the recovery partition unless you have a backup / clone of EVERYTHING in C:

HAving just found your other thread click here
Ignore my previous postabove.

I'm surprised That the Op system is on D: and recovery on C:
I'm wondering if the new installation has reconfigured the drive letters.

I suggest you tick this as resolved and stick with the other to prevent confusion.
