Windows XP Registry - is there a check utility?

  DocP 12:02 15 Nov 2005

I thought XP had a utility to check the integrity of the Registry - but I can't find it.

I am trying to establish whether I have any shortcut links which are wrong or point to non-existant applications.

I'd be grateful if you have the answer.

Many thanks everyone - CCleaner is excellent. The best about it is that you can see just what it is going to alter before you commit.

Solved my problem
