Could be bios that need updating if you ignor ACPI errors your computer will come to a halt as it has started todo,i had to change my motherboard
i was running WME before that.
You can reformat on the reinstall on the tool bar it will show F6 don't select this press F5 a small box will open
choose the first option standard computer WXP will install but you could have problems in the future
with some software.

How long does the system run before freezing? You did not mention the graphics card, I wonder if it is nvidia by any chance! You could try lowering the graphics acceleration to see if that helps. If it does then you may look at updating your graphics drivers. I had this very problem when I first installed an nvidia graphics card.

It changes from day to day it may run for 5 mins or an hour even 3 hours then freeze twice in 20 mins
Yes the graphics card is on board but it is a nvidia i will tyr updating drivers
