Windows XP Home - multi users?

I've just bought a laptop with Windows XP Home installed. How do I install programs, like Word, Excel etc., so that either user can use, or stop some users from accessing. I have a desktop PC, but I've installed all the programmes through myself, as an adminstator, and all other users have to go through my log-on. As you can imagine it's in bit of a mess, and I want to install onto the laptop so I don't have the same problems.

If you installed from the Administrator account, the shortcuts may have
been placed in the Administrator profile in C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs. Open that folder and move
the shortcuts to the All Users profile (C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Start Menu\Programs). Now all user accounts can see the shortcuts.
