Windows XP - default profile not loading

  Evolution 12:51 07 Feb 2009

When my daughter boots up her laptop (win XP), it can no longer find her log on profile and loads a temporary one instead. (Although this is still in her original user account name)

Whilst the desktop looks different, I believe all files are still on the hard drive.

The message, upon start up, states that the profile may be corrupt or security settings are preventing it loading.

Any ideas how I can resolve this.

recap is correct the only way to satisfactorily resolve this issue is to delete the account and create a new one...
