Windows XP Auto Start Up Programmes

I am running a utility programme (Speedfan) that I would like to start up automatically when I start up my PC.

Can anyone explain how I can acheive this?

place a shotrt cut to the speedfan program in the startup folder on the start menu.

Start -settings- taskabar ans start menu - startmenu tab - customise -add

Unfortunately it didn't work for me.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Your suggestion did work OK.

I had to swap to "Classic Start Menu" to enable the features you described.

I did that and my Speedfan Programme now auto runs.
