SOME OF MY SYSTEM FILE WERE DELETED BY AN ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM, I CANT GET BACK INTO WINDOWS,IV TRYED ALL THE F8 FUNCTIONS,I GET TO A LOG ON SCREEN I DIDNT HAVE A PAS WORD, WHEN I OK THE USER NAME IT TRIES TO LOG ON THEN LOGS OFF IN SECONDS, I HAVE A COPY OF WINDOWS TO RESTORE BUT HAVNT GOT ANY FLOPPYS TO RESTOR SYSTEM FILES,ANY IDEAS?

Have you put your XP CD into the CD drive and restarted the PC.

I think you should get a repair option, but I may be wrong.

I have tried that, no no come up ,it does not overide the start up ,cd is running in drive but is passed by.

You don't need any floppies. Just set your BIOS to boot from CD and run the repair option.
