Windows updates

Hi folks,I usually check for my updates manually. When checking for updates it tells me there are no high priority updates but there are 11 optional updates. In the optional updates there are 3 security updates for xp and other stuff.I'm just wondering if I would be better(safer)downloading and installing all of them,or do I need to?Thanks.

It would be wise to install ALL security updates not just the high priority ones.

The other pdats are often for drivers and can be quite useful aswell.

Better to be safe than sorry and load all updates.

You have to be a bit careful,up-dates are usually ok to download, but I have to make sure I do not download any audio up-dates or my sound disappears.
