Hi GuysI've lost the proper icons for most of my programs in the Windows XP Start menu. All I'm getting is a generic 'ico' symbol. I've tried 'right click, properties' but the change icon option is greyed out. Any ideas how to get the proper icons back. ThanksKen
Get TweakUI and choose the repair icons option:>> Screenshot: click here>> TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP/XP MCE [564 KB].> click here>> TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1/XP MCE/2003 [147 KB].> click here

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try when I get home from work this evening.
Installed TweakUI, repaired icons...still the same :(any idas?
System Restore?Do the icons still work?
I don't know why but the problem seems to have been caused by ACDSee v7. I've uninstalled ACDSee and all icons have now reverted back to normal...Thanks for your inputKen
