Windows Start menu icon problem

Hi Guys

I've lost the proper icons for most of my programs in the Windows XP Start menu. All I'm getting is a generic 'ico' symbol. I've tried 'right click, properties' but the change icon option is greyed out. Any ideas how to get the proper icons back.

Thanks

Ken

Get TweakUI and choose the repair icons option:

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try when I get home from work this evening.

System Restore?

Do the icons still work?

I don't know why but the problem seems to have been caused by ACDSee v7. I've uninstalled ACDSee and all icons have now reverted back to normal...

Thanks for your input
Ken
