Windows Security Center

  Alf58 13:17 29 May 2006

I am running Windows Xp Pro. When I go to Windows Security Center I get a message telling me the security centre hasd stopped or has been turned off. I am asked to reboot or turn Windows security back on. Rebooting does not change anything. I dont know how to turn Wiondows security Center back on. I am using Norton AV could this be why no security centre?

Any ideas folks?

Start, Run, type

and click OK. Scroll down to Security Center and double click it. Click the Start button and change the Stasrtup Type to Automatic.

Thanks Vog. Followed your instructions and all ok now. I wonder if Norton disabled it? Anyway, who cares. Thanks again.
