Hi all.Got a little problem with Windows Media Player ver. 11. I'm running XP Pro and every time I play a file on WMP I get an error message...."Your device is using an outdated driver that is no longer supported by WMP. For additional assistance, click web help"I click 'web help' but it isn't any help.I just click OK and it goes away.Any idea's out there? Thanks.
Have you tried reinstalling it?click here

Hi Rawprawn. Thanks for the reply.Yes, a reinstall was the first thing that I tried. This didn't happen until I installed ver. 11. All was OK with ver. 10 and I don't really want to go back to the old version.
have you tried the k lite codec packclick here
I have read of quite a number of cases where users had problems with version 11. All resolved when they went back to version 10.
Thanks for that Raven. I tried that but all still the same. Looks like I'll have to put up and shut up.
