Can anyone help?
Have been using WMP for last year or so and have been totally happy with it, sound quality, copying etc. In recent months though the sound quality has seriously deteriorated. Bass is too high and distorted, and vocals have sunk back into mix and are almost inaudible. I`ve tried changing settings on equaliser but it`s no help. Using Quicktime sound is still perfect so I doubt it`s soundcard or PC settings at fault. Also using Real Player sound is far superior, though some files are still worse than when downloaded. Many of the tracks I play are copied onto hard drive from CD, some are downloaded off net, and even playing a new CD the sound is distorted. I`ve downloaded latest updates and still no better. Anyone any sugggestions?THanks
