WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER ERROR COOD1167

Operating system xp home.Using windows media player 10.I have many holiday movies copied from my camcorder onti tdk dvd-r discs.From these i have made copies all were ok.Now when i put the original dvd-r or the copies in i get an error message on windows media player[windows media player cannot play the dvd because a problem occured while configuring copyright[error code C00D 1167].The dvd /dvd/cd rw unit i have used and has not been altered in any way is the NEC3500G.Can anyone help.my thanks in advance

THANKS TOPCAT- BUT I TRIED THAT WAY BEFORE I CAME ON TO THE FORUM .ANY OTHER IDEAS??.
WHY SHOUD THE DVD PLAY ONE WEEK AND NOT THE NEXT I AM BAFFLED. I SEE ON WINDOWS MEDIA FORUM I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM.

i have gone into my system via deccheck and found that i have cyberlink video/sp decoder version 5.0.0.1031 from the .Do you think another make of decoder would sort it. I do not mind the cost if it will work

special thanks to santos i went back into your click here i found that nvidia were doing a 30 day free trial on their decoder so i thought nothing to lose so i downloaded and installed and bingo my holiday videos up and running
