Windows Media Player 9

Hi Folks - just downloaded an upgrade to windows media player 9 and now I am unable to play the music previously stored on my hard drive.

I am getting an error message which is stating the URL address is probably wrong which suggest it assume I am trying to play music from the internet which I am not.

Does any one have any suggestion what might be the problem?

Have you tried F3 (search computer for media).

Received via email.

"Mike Thanks for your help but I have the music files in my documents folder. However I might have found a solution to the problem. I have noticed that all the songs have been copied again by the upgrade but with todays date and they play. So if I do not get a simpler solution I will just delete the old recordings from the music files. A bit of a pain. Thanks for your response."
