I want to play a down load *.flv video from You Tube on the above (W7 PC), but it won't play. Can I download a K Lite Pack or something to get it to play this file?
Thanks David

Is it OK for W7, as it only quotes up to Vista?
Thanks David

Yes, it is the same version 6.9

Should have added unless you are using 64 bit

The 64-bit versions of Windows can run 32-bit software perfectly fine. So it is recommended to use the regular K-Lite Codec Pack when possible. That one contains more, better and faster decoders. You only need 64-bit filters for use with 64-bit applications.

Thanks for your reply, just a query- my PC is 64 bit W7. Will the k lite pack you recommended be OK, and is it installed as any *.exe?
Thanks David

I am running Win 7 64bit Professional and have an earlier version 5.8.3 installed and running without any problems. V. 6.9 is the Full Pack and should be all you require (installed as .exe)
