Windows Media Player 10 question

  Rebecca* 23:15 10 Sep 2004

I'd like to upgrade to Win media Player 10 but just wanted to know before I did if you lose all the stored music files from the old version or are they transferred to the new version? Thanks for any help.

You won't lose anything apart from Media Player version 9.

Thanks VoG. My son would have killed me if it did. Will upgrade now. Thanks again for speedy reply.

i tried version 10 (which is only the Beta version)
and all my mp3's etc were still available.

Dont forget your files on stored on your HD, so you can always uninstall wmp10 if there is a problem and reinstall wmp9

Just goto TOOLS/SEARCH for media files....

This will present you with all your saved files or search for the folders in which you have saved your music etc...
