windows media player 10 problem

when i try to play most ov my saved music it says...The input media format is invalid.

Have you had it working before (and so it has now stopped working) or has it never worked (with WMP10)?

Also what format is your music in (e.g. MP3, WAV, WMA)?

iv got about 2000 songs and most of them come up with this fault.

Under Tools, Options on the Player tab, have you got Download Codecs Automatically checked (and are you connnected to Internet when the problem occurs)?

yes that is ticked,and it is the same if i am connected or not.

Try installing the K-Lite standard audio and codecs pack from:

click here

Also Ensure that all file types are Enabled from Tools>Options>File Types tab.

Try Disabling the Licence Management boxes (I'm using WMP11 so can't remember the exact WMP10 route, but most likely via Tools).
