Windows Mail

Hello, I am getting a lot of unwanted mail and I am trying to get rid of it by simply not opening them.

Unfortunately when I open windows mail it seem to automaticly open one of my emails at random.

Is it possible to preset my pc to open windows mail but not actually open any emails so that I can choose which to open.

Regards Brian

It actually opens mail in a new window? Or are you referring to the preview pane? You could use Mailwasher to stop some of the junk arriving in the first place; click here

if you mean one of the mails is open in a "window", probably at the bottom of the screen, that suggests you have preview pane enabled; dangerous practice. Worth checking anyway. In Windows Mail go to View> layout> and untick "Show Preview pane" . Then click Apply & then OK.
I agree with brundle about Mailwasher - very useful software; it's free and you can train it to recognise and remove stuff you don't want without it ever needing to appear in your Inbox
