Windows Live Messenger. Problem with AVG.

This is doing my head in...using latest versions,but i canot get avg to scan when i recieve a file on windows live messenger,any ideas.all i want to do is put a command in the box where it says use this prog to scan incoming files,which points to avg,to start scan of file automatically.

on windows live messenger, to get auto scanning:

tools, options, file transfer, then click the scan for viruse, then find path to AVG.exe

As per Brundle in the previous link and as Santos says above and the path is

C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free\avgw.exe" /SE

Basically this a common problem and plenty of info via Google.

im using v8.1 windows live messenger and v 7.5.472 avg
