I have recently bought an 'ex-corporate' PC that came with a Windows NT licence (sticker on the side) but no installed OS. How do I go about loading a Windows NT OS to use with my licence?
Thanks.

Call up the person/company who sold it to you and ask them for the installation disk!!!

Hi, I would guess that the license is worthless without the original cd.

Cheers.

That is illegal, so if you do this you may (extremely unlikely) get court by the police or the FBI!!!

I would contact the person/company who sold me the computer or contact Microsoft to see if they can do anything or give you some sort of "permission" to download it from the internet!!!

You may be better off purchasing a copy of Windows 2000. Windows NT is quite an old system which uses NTFS filing system and a lot of programs want run on it, I suspect the machine is quite old otherwise the ex-corporation would not be getting rid of it, so it might not be up to loading Windows XP on it.

Do you know anything about its specification at all?
