Windows Internet Explorer Hacking PANIC!

Has anyone seen the headlines regarding the problems with Microsoft Explorer? Apparently millions affected by Chinese hacking emails etc and Microsoft are trying to isolate and sort it but have advised considering switching to another internet user. I have my usual security on my lappy, but this is very worrying especially using online banking, ordering goodies for Chrissy etc. Wondered if the more techno minded of you all could explain the potential horrors as I'm a bit frantic! Thanks evry1

It's Internet Explorer, not Microsoft Explorer (??), and there's already at least half-a-dozen other threads in the Forums about this.

Yawn.

Also people are being advised to switch to another Browser if they are using Internet Explorer 7, not change to another Internet user.

Use Opera or Firefox instead!
