I'm on windows 98 SE and downloaded a program but it said I needed a newer version of the windows installer (whatever that is) and when I clicked 'yes' to get one, I got this message:
"The windows installer -kb884106-v2-x86.EXE file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NTOpenProcess Token..."
and it wouldn't install...
what do I do, please?

Are you sure the program works on Windows 98 - NTDLL.DLL is a NT/Xp/2000 file.
Download the installer manually click here

Go to click here download and install the latest 3.1 installer from ms, direct.

No actually, I'm wrong about ntdll.dll. My mistake.

will try that De Marcus -splork: I checked before downloading that it would run on 98SE.

You may still need v2, I don't think 3.1 supports Windows 98.

Put your Win09 CD in the Computer stop Auto load running. Now go to Start/Run typ SFC press enter and run the program to look for corrupt files
