Now and again I get a little white square with a Windows Flag on it, appearing on my desktop.
Does any one know why?
There is a squiggley and dash under it.
It 1s 188 KB and indicates "MS-DOSname:" when I click properties.

It is possibly a temp file from a document that is saved on the desktop and is open e.g. if you save a word documenent on the desktop and then open it, then minimise all windows, it will display a temp file on the desktop also.
