Windows explorer question

Just recently I've noticed that some of my files instead of the usual black, are hi-lighted in blue and it's not just a particular type of file. Seems to be random. Some are .txt, .gif, .wav, etc. Anyone know the reason for this?

Files with blue writing tend to be ones that have been compressed to save disk space.

Thanx very much, I know I did do that recently, so I believe you're probably right. Thanx again.
