I have just reformatted my laptop and downloaded 75 updates from Microsoft for vista. But there is one update (KB980248) that downloads to 94% and stops and i get the following error code 8007045D. Any one here offer any help please?
Hard to pinpoint it. Some say corrupt file.lack of memory.Hard drive. If you still have the Vista disc maybe run sfc /scannow. Or Chkdsk.Defrag. None of those may help but it gives you something to do until someone else can help.
