Windows Defender Vista Wont Start

Can anyone give me the string to put in my start up menu - Not the start folder - Because an Anti-Spyware program removed it & Defender no longer starts at boot? I can modify remove & add in the JV16 Start modifier so it's no problem to add it. Defender runs fine if I click on the icon but using that string doest work.

Thanks

If you have an anti-virus program. Why not just download A squared or Superantispyware and use one of those instead of W/Defender.Or try msconfig start up and make sure it is ticked.

Check and make sure that it is getting "Successful" updates, if not update it manually.

Buteman - The problem is Defender don't show up in 'msconfig'.
