Windows Defender - Allowed List

I have been trying (with the aid of the Help file) to add Everest Home to the Allowed List in Defender. In all probability it is me being less than computer literate that is at fault, but I can`t get it to `add` regardless of how I go about it.

Can any kind soul please provide a step by step action including the various windows I need to access?

Many thanks in anticipation.

I run both those programs without the need to put Everest in WD's allowed list. Why would you need to do so please? G

Because in the Defender `History` window it appears as a threat on startup. Both run OK, but if I could `Allow` Everest it would leave the `History` window clearer in the event of something not `allowed`.

On the History window just press the 'Clear History' button(?)

Btw, I don't know if you're aware but WD's final release is now out click here (posted at PCA this afternoon click here). G

I am aware of the `Clear History` facility but this action will not prevent Everest causing an entry at each opening.

Thanks for the information, but I already have WD final installed.
